If you can find things to complain about, then you can also
find ways to improve your world. Let go of the need to
complain, and work instead on bringing the improvements to
life.

As many problems as there are, there are even more positive
possibilities. Grab the best of those possibilities, be good
to life, and enjoy how good life is for you.

No matter what you have chosen or failed to choose in the
past, today you can choose to live at your highest, most
fulfilling level. No matter what today brings, you can
respond with love, kindness, joy, gratitude and genuine
enthusiasm for making a positive difference.

Today is a choice, and you are in a position to make it the
smartest, most loving, authentic and meaningful choice
you’ve ever made. Today is your choice, so choose to make it
the best one yet.

Get through it, not by fighting but by accepting and
persisting in each moment. Get through it, not with
resentment for what you must do but with gratitude for what
you can accomplish.

You have what it takes, because what it takes is simply
making one step, and then the next, and then the next. Step
forward, get through it, and bring your own unique value
more fully to life.

In each problem there is real opportunity for the creation
of meaningful value. So it just makes sense to be eager and
enthusiastic and positive about bringing that value to life.

Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love.
Lao Tzu

If you continually focus your thoughts on the things you
don’t want, those things will surely find their way into
your life. By the same measure, focusing your thoughts on
your most positive possibilities enables you to make those
possibilities real.

When life brings you disappointment after disappointment,
it’s easy to make all your thoughts negative ones. Yet it is
just as easy, and far more empowering, to respond with
positive thinking.

If you had the power to change your life for the better,
would you use that power? You do indeed have that power, and
it is in the thoughts you choose to think.

Let go of all thoughts to the contrary, and experience how
truly beautiful your life already is. Delight in the simple,
magnificent miracle of your existence.

Feel the joy that is always there, ready to flow out from
you in limitless measure. Let go of the conditions and
limits you’ve placed on happiness, and let that happiness
easily and naturally fill your world.

Watch yourself this day. Just watch yourself. Look at what you are doing moment to moment…and why. Ask yourself in the midst of it, “What does this have to do with my real reason for being here? Is this what I have come all the way to the Earth to experience?”

If the answer is a resounding Yes, keep doing it. If the answer is No, ask yourself, “What in the world am I doing?
Neale Donald Walsch

Be that person on the inside, with your thoughts, values,
priorities and commitments. Be that person on the outside,
with your actions, your relationships and your gifts to
life.

You have control over who you are and what you do, so make
good and meaningful use of that control. Be that person who
is qualified, prepared and inspired to live the life you
wish to live

Make life more enjoyable by choosing to see more of it as
enjoyable. Instead of assuming that what you’re doing is
unpleasant just because everyone else thinks so, see if you
can find a way to enjoy it.

Much of what makes life unpleasant is your worry that you’re
missing out on something more enjoyable. Let go of that
worry, enjoy the moment you’re in, and feel the genuine
beauty of life that lives within you.

The distinction between work and play is nothing more than a
judgment call. Instead of making that judgment, make the
choice to put meaning and fulfillment into whatever you’re
doing.

It’s easy to feel confined by your commitments and
obligations. Yet when you choose, it is just as easy, and
just as realistic, to feel enthusiastic and empowered by
whatever it is you must do.

Your situation is what it is. However, the way you feel
about your situation is completely up to you.

It feels much better to feel better, and it makes you vastly
more effective at bringing real value to life. So choose
more often to enjoy, and happily experience life on your own
enjoyable terms.

Your attitude may be the biggest thing holding you back. And
that’s great news, because you can change it very quickly.

Other challenges and limitations can take much time and
energy to overcome. Yet if your attitude is what’s limiting
you, then you have the key right here and now to break free.

Your attitude does not define you and it doesn’t really
control you. It does, however, exert a powerful influence on
the way you see the world.

The simple fact is that with a positive, purposeful and
loving attitude, you are able to see and to connect with
life’s best possibilities. And simply by deciding to choose
it, you can immediately benefit from such an attitude.

You don’t have to let your attitude be held hostage by
negative people, events or circumstances. You can choose
whatever attitude you wish, no matter what may be going on
around you.

So give yourself a powerful advantage. Choose an attitude,
right now, that will illuminate the positive side of life,
and begin right away to reap the great rewards of your
empowering focus.

What you do, matters. The words you speak, the things you
feel, the thoughts you hold, and the actions you take all
have an influence on the quality of your life.

You cannot escape the consequences of the way you choose to
live. So your best strategy is to make those consequences
magnificent.

Instead of having to pay a price for your actions, you can
be reaping the rewards of your actions. The choices you make
in each moment are what make the difference.

If you carry around negative thoughts and feelings, and then
express that negativity in your actions, you make your whole
world a darker, more dismal place. Choose instead to adopt a
positive perspective, seeing the best in other people and in
the situations you encounter, and you’ll be adding new,
meaningful value to your world.

In every little moment, the way you choose to be truly
matters. Make a little positive difference, again and again,
and it all soon adds to a life of real fulfillment and joy.

You have a very powerful influence on the world in which you
live, and on the life you experience. Live as though
everything matters, because it does, and bring your own
magnificent consequences to life.

Let go of the need to prove you’re right. Instead,
concentrate your thoughts and efforts on being your best.

Get beyond your worries about what may or may not happen, or
what other people might think of you. Invest yourself in the
real and present actions you can take to make a positive
difference.

Open your eyes, open your heart, and see the miracle that is today. Feel how good and powerful it feels to be alive. You don’t have to wait for some distant, imagined time before you can relish the sweet, profound experience of being fully alive. Because right now, today, in this place, in this situation, the miracle of your life is here for you to live. No day is really ordinary, because each day comes with its own bundle of unique treasures. No moment is useless or pointless, because every moment is filled with priceless possibilities. Remind yourself how truly fortunate you are to be you. Look beyond all the distractions of superficial things that come and go, and feel the awesome power of life that exists within you. Imagine the most amazing, fulfilling thing you can imagine. And realize that you have the ability to make it real, through the power of your life. Today there is more hope, and there are more possibilities for fulfillment, than ever before. Because today you are here to bring the best of life to life.

Frustration comes from focusing on what you cannot control.
Achievement, on the other hand, comes from focusing on all
the useful and valuable things you can do.

Resentment comes from seeing yourself as a victim.
Effectiveness comes from stepping up and taking
responsibility.

If you constantly complain that life is unfair, you’ll blind
yourself to the best opportunities. Yet by simply accepting
that what’s done is done, you’ll find a way to make the most
of it.

Don’t waste your time arguing and fighting with life.
Instead, invest your time and resources in inspiring and
encouraging the best in yourself and in those around you.

There is good, positive, fulfilling value to be lived every
day, in any situation. Choose to be the person who shines a
light on that potential value and who brings that value
fully to life.

Let go of the frustration, resentment and despair by letting
the positive possibilities fill your awareness. Embrace and
enjoy the immense power that comes from taking full,
unconditional responsibility for all you are and all you
experience.
