If you can find things to complain about, then you can also
find ways to improve your world. Let go of the need to
complain, and work instead on bringing the improvements to
life.

As many problems as there are, there are even more positive
possibilities. Grab the best of those possibilities, be good
to life, and enjoy how good life is for you.

No matter what you have chosen or failed to choose in the
past, today you can choose to live at your highest, most
fulfilling level. No matter what today brings, you can
respond with love, kindness, joy, gratitude and genuine
enthusiasm for making a positive difference.

Today is a choice, and you are in a position to make it the
smartest, most loving, authentic and meaningful choice
you’ve ever made. Today is your choice, so choose to make it
the best one yet.

Tap into life’s immense abundance by gracefully and
gratefully accepting what is. Give richness and meaning to
that abundance by putting it to good use with focused effort
and persistence.

Nothing is achieved by getting uptight about things that
don’t really matter anyway. Let it all be, take it all in,
and put all your focus and energy into making a positive
difference going forward.

Make life good in every moment by allowing life’s goodness
to be and to grow. Instead of fighting against what has
already come to be, make a point of finding the value in it
all, and in making that value grow.

From here, you can go anywhere. Let this moment be, and rise
from it into the reality of the very best life you can
envision.

If you continually focus your thoughts on the things you
don’t want, those things will surely find their way into
your life. By the same measure, focusing your thoughts on
your most positive possibilities enables you to make those
possibilities real.

When life brings you disappointment after disappointment,
it’s easy to make all your thoughts negative ones. Yet it is
just as easy, and far more empowering, to respond with
positive thinking.

If you had the power to change your life for the better,
would you use that power? You do indeed have that power, and
it is in the thoughts you choose to think.

Make life more enjoyable by choosing to see more of it as
enjoyable. Instead of assuming that what you’re doing is
unpleasant just because everyone else thinks so, see if you
can find a way to enjoy it.

Much of what makes life unpleasant is your worry that you’re
missing out on something more enjoyable. Let go of that
worry, enjoy the moment you’re in, and feel the genuine
beauty of life that lives within you.

The distinction between work and play is nothing more than a
judgment call. Instead of making that judgment, make the
choice to put meaning and fulfillment into whatever you’re
doing.

It’s easy to feel confined by your commitments and
obligations. Yet when you choose, it is just as easy, and
just as realistic, to feel enthusiastic and empowered by
whatever it is you must do.

Your situation is what it is. However, the way you feel
about your situation is completely up to you.

It feels much better to feel better, and it makes you vastly
more effective at bringing real value to life. So choose
more often to enjoy, and happily experience life on your own
enjoyable terms.

Your attitude may be the biggest thing holding you back. And
that’s great news, because you can change it very quickly.

Other challenges and limitations can take much time and
energy to overcome. Yet if your attitude is what’s limiting
you, then you have the key right here and now to break free.

Your attitude does not define you and it doesn’t really
control you. It does, however, exert a powerful influence on
the way you see the world.

The simple fact is that with a positive, purposeful and
loving attitude, you are able to see and to connect with
life’s best possibilities. And simply by deciding to choose
it, you can immediately benefit from such an attitude.

You don’t have to let your attitude be held hostage by
negative people, events or circumstances. You can choose
whatever attitude you wish, no matter what may be going on
around you.

So give yourself a powerful advantage. Choose an attitude,
right now, that will illuminate the positive side of life,
and begin right away to reap the great rewards of your
empowering focus.

Whenever you complain about something negative in your world,
you reinforce your connection with that negativity. Your
complaint can actually focus your energy toward perpetuating
and empowering whatever you’re complaining about.

A much better strategy is to come up with a positive
alternative, and then to act on it. Instead of merely
reinforcing what is wrong, you have an opportunity to change
the situation for the better.

Complaints, because of their negative nature, are usually
met with some degree of defensiveness. Positive
alternatives, on the other hand, will naturally be met with
cooperation and appreciation.

The next time you have the urge to complain, stop and ask
yourself what it is you really want. Do you simply want to
complain or do you want to do something that will improve
the situation?

Somewhere within each complaint is a genuine desire to
improve the situation, but the complaint itself is never
enough to do that. So skip beyond the complaint and use your
efforts and resources to truly make a positive difference.

Make the choice not to aggravate a bad situation with your
complaints. Choose instead to transform it with your
positive thoughts, ideas and actions.

A few notes on prosperity…

thetaoofdana:

This morning I woke up with a persistent icky feeling after a particularly sleepless night. Waking up with such dominating negative thoughts can mean only one thing: it’s time for action!
While I’m no expert on life philosophy I am an expert in feng shui and energy flow. Thoughts that persist suggest that metal (the element of positive boundaries and grief as well!) and water (the emotional germination element) are out of whack.
Solution on a physical, tactical level for those persistent thoughts that drag you down: clean your house (especially dusting and vacuum), clear all clutter, and get very hydrated. Taking a bath and or shower and listening to watery music (something non-linear and groovy) will move the thoughts along into action. Most critically, after space is cleared and things are flowing is to take a positive action to get yourself effectually out of that bad emotion. That’s a feng shui-my-way ritual that is effective.
How does this pertain to prosperity? Simple: prosperous lives on every level are dominated by wood and positive fire. If your thoughts are stuck on the bad stuff that can be handled pretty effectively, you can’t be there in life to create, to grow, to flourish. You stagnate, ruminate and develop the physical and elemental nature that does not lend itself to flourishing.
Prosperity in life is not that hard, it’s just a matter of choices and willingness to help yourself through the element cycle to a fresh place!
Have an awesome day!!! xxx Dana

“How positively you see others is linked to how happy, kind-hearted and emotionally stable you are, according to new research by a Wake Forest University psychology professor. “Your perceptions of others reveal so much about your own personality,” says Dustin Wood, assistant professor of psychology at Wake Forest and lead author of the study, about his findings. By asking study participants to each rate positive and negative characteristics of just three people, the researchers were able to find out important information about the rater’s well-being, mental health, social attitudes and how they were judged by others.”
